The Peralta Sail and Power Squadron offers a wide range of Educational courses aimed at improving the boating skills and making our boating experiences safer and more enjoyable. Courses are offered in four convenient locations: San Leandro, San Mateo, San Francisco and Benicia.

Americas Boating Course - Third Edition has replaced the Squadron Boating Course. This course is far superior in as much as it contains a self tutorial for those who may need to miss a section, or simply take the course at home. course designed for all types of boating enthusiasts. This course gives students a strong foundation to build upon as they continue their boating education.

Americas Boating Course is offered free of charge except for a nominal charge for the student text.

Those who would like a little more indepth knowledge on a specific topic can enroll in instructor led Seminars such as GPS, Anchoring, Power Boat Handling, Advanced Power Boat Handling, Radar and other worth while topics of interest to recreational boaters.
