PERALTA FERRY BOAT ADVENTURE

Join us for a day of Fun, Food, and Friendship on Saturday, September 22, 2007 as we travel 100 miles on the water from Oakland to Vallejo and return.

We will depart from Oakland Jack London Square at 10:40 AM on the Oakland/Alameda Ferry (Plan to arrive by 10:30). Parking is available in the public parking garage a block away at Clay and Embarcadero Streets. We will travel across the Bay to the Ferry Building in San Francisco, where will spend about an hour and a half touring the recently renovated Ferry Building and its many shops.

We depart from San Francisco on the Vallejo Baylink Ferry at 12:40 PM. Our route will take us north up to San Pablo Bay, and we arrive in Vallejo about an hour later.

Lunch will be at the Front Room Restaurant located right on the water overlooking Mare Island Strait next to the ferry terminal. Information about the restaurant and its menu are available at www.frontroomvallejo.com

Following lunch, we will leave from Vallejo on the 4:05 PM ferry back to San Francisco, where we will make a quick connection to the 5:10 PM Oakland ferry back to Jack London Square. Arrival in Oakland will be at 5:40 PM; however, please be prepared if we miss our connection in San Francisco, we might not arrive back in Oakland until 7:15 PM.

Fare including all 4 ferry trips is $36; Seniors 65+ $19. Tickets are purchased on the ferry boats or at the ferry terminals. Lunch is additional.
